Welcome to Light Cycle Racing Level Creation!

This is your chance to be part of gaming history! Create your very own level that could be coded into the Light Cycle Racing video game cartridge for Colecovision! I'm planning on using 10 of the submitted levels for the game and I will give credit to those who get their levels into the game. I will post my favorite submitted levels on AtariAge and allow users to vote.

Have fun creating!!!

TO SUBMIT YOUR LEVEL:
1) Send your dat file to: parkfun101@yahoo.com

SOME RULES TO FOLLOW WHEN MAKING YOUR LEVEL:
A] Try to make your level mirrored so that it is the same on both sides vertical/horizontal/preferably both. See example.dat for an example.
B] Feel free to change colors, move the bikes, or even create new pieces, obstacles, etc.
C] Make sure to submit your level by 02/08/2015. This date may change, so if you are a bit late, you may still have time.
D] Make sure to tell me the name you want displayed in the credits if your game makes it on the cartridge.

**** IMPORTANT NOTE *****
There is a BUG in ICVGM303. If you click "Save As" and save your dat file as the name you already have opened, it will erase your dat file. However, if you give it a new name each time you save or use the "Save" instead of "Save As", it works fine. If you accidentally erase your file but you still have ICVGM open, simply click "Save" and it will come back or use "Save As" and give it a name and it should come back.
